Last day in San Diego

On our last day in San Diego, Jason spent the morning attending his conference and I did my normal roaming around town. Then we headed to Petco Park for a tour of the stadium! It turned out to be our own private tour, which was great! Jason got to ask a lot of questions and enjoy some sports talk with a fellow enthusiast! [Please take note that Michelle is posting these pictures as well as the comments. I am sure Jason will want to correct and add to the following comments!]

A few pics from on the field.

This is the "dirt" they use. It's actually lava!

Some lovely John Deere equipment!

The visiting team's locker room. If this is for the visiting team, just imagine what the home team's locker room looks like!

The visiting teams dugout.

Soooooooo many seats!

An old warehouse that is now part of the stadium!

Me hanging with our tour guide!

Looks like someone got angry this season!

A view from up high!

Inside the warehouse I mentioned earlier. This is an old slide they used to use in the warehouse and they left it up for show.

Some famous uniforms. I would love to tell you who they belong to . . . but that will have to be something for Jason to explain later!

This section is the "cheap seats". It was really cool because there is sand down there near the fence so kids can play while the game is going on!

Taking our last walk around San Diego and soaking in the beauty!

Off to dinner!  Seafood feast!!!

And finishing off with a sundae from Ghirardelli!

This is a sign from the conference.

Good night, San Diego! And Goodbye!

Thank you Hubert Grandparents for taking care of Noel for the week! She had a great time!
