Noel's 12 month stats

Noel has had a very busy month of developments! The biggest development is probably that she eats very little baby food now. She is mostly eating everything that we eat! She LOVES fruit, especially peaches and kiwi. Vegetables are not her favorite, but we can't blame her because we don't really like veggies either! She has done a great job recently of drinking cow's milk. As of this week we are done breastfeeding (Mom just shouted a great big YAAAAHOOOOOOOOO!).
She LOVES music! Anytime music is playing she is bopping along and dancing! She loves to play her piano and sing into the microphone. For her birthday she received several toys that make noise and they have quickly become her favorite!
As you will see from the monthly photos, Noel LOVES her baby dolls. She has one that she sleeps with, named Michaela, and another one that stays in with her toys, named Rian. She loves to give her dolls hugs and kisses.
Noel has been working on some words. She says Dada and Momma, but not in the correct way. She has started to say hi, hi there, baby, and a warped version of Leka.

Noel's 12 month appointment was quite the eventful one. Unbeknownst to us, Noel had a double ear infection. This is her second one in 4 months. So, she was put back on Amoxicillin. She seems to be doing better already! She is such a tough little girl that she doesn't really show signs of being in pain!
As you will see in her upcoming growth stats, she has dropped in her weight percentage. The doctor was a bit concerned about that. So, we have been given one month to plump up our little girl and see if she can gain some weight. We will go back to the doctor on August 9th for a weight check. (Don't you wish your doctor gave you one month to gain weight!?!?)
The doctor also suggested us to a county program, called Infants and Toddlers, to have Noel evaluated since she is still not crawling or walking. We have placed a call in to them and are waiting to hear from her assigned case worker to schedule a date to come and evaluate her. Hopefully they will start therapy soon and our girl will be on the move!

Phew, ok, now on to her stats! It's amazing to see how far she has come!
