Birthday weekend!

Noel's birthday party weekend was full of company and fun! She was very surprised to wake up on Friday morning and see that she had company! She loved playing with her Aunt Kat and cousin Caiden! 

He is just so darn funny! 

Caiden thinks Noel is pretty funny too! 

Eventually we all got dressed and headed into downtown Baltimore to go to the science museum! 

Grandpa, Noel and Caiden had a little tug o' war fun with Uncle Matt and Madi! 

There were a lot of fun hands-on activities! 

Noel hitched a ride with Caiden! 

She wasn't too happy at this point, but Madi wanted to have Noel ride up with her too! 

We had to shake Cal's hand to show Dad! He was at work and couldn't come out and play with us! 

We found a baby room that Noel really liked. The floor was like a water bed! She had fun throwing the blocks around! 

Help! I'm stuck in this hole! 

Madi was really brave and wanted to lay on the bed of nails! 

I couldn't let her do it alone! :) 

Noel and Madi sat on a floor that shook and moved like a heartbeat! It was very shaky and fun! 

Noel even rode in an airplane! If only she could reach the controls! 

Ahhhhhh!

Caiden made a new friend! 

Aunt Kat helped Noel with some water play! 

Despite the very stormy weather outside, we had a great time inside the science museum! We went home and all crashed! 

Saturday was party day! Those pictures will be in an upcoming blog! 

Sunday we all woke up and noticed that the weather was beautiful! So . . . off to the zoo we went! 

Who doesn't love prairie dogs? 

Phew, what a weekend! Noel was exhausted from all the fun!

Despite the heat, the animals were all very active!

Not long after that, Noel decided it was time for a nap! 

She missed the end of the zoo! But it had been a pretty full weekend! 

Noel really enjoyed her busy birthday party weekend! She loved spending it with her VA family and doing lots of mini-adventures!
