Joseph's 1 Month Check-up

I'm a little behind on my posting, but here is some info from Joseph's 1 month check-up.

Joe is doing great at one month old! He has been put on some reflux meds, which Noel was on as well, to try and help with his gas problems. Poor guy gets some pretty bad gas, especially at night! The doctor was very pleased with his growth. He is growing like a weed! Here are his stats so far!

Weight:
Birth - 7 lbs. 15.3 oz. (40th percentile)
(2/19) 1 Week - 8 lbs. 6.8 oz. (50th percentile)
(3/20) 1 Month - 12 lbs. 4.8 oz. (90th percentile)

Height:
Birth - 19.68 in. (50th percentile)
(2/19) 1 Week - 21.75 in. (95th percentile)
(3/20) 1 Month - 23.25 in. (90th percentile)

Head Circumference:
Birth - 33 cm (25th percentile)
(2/19) 1 Week - 35 cm (25th percentile)
(3/20) 1 Month - 39.5 cm (50th percentile)

Here are some pictures of Joe that we will keep up with each month so that you can see his growth!

Just for giggles, here is a reminder of what Noel looked like in the laundry basket at one month. There is a reason that Jason lovingly refers to Joe as chunk sometimes! :)

  1. I wonder if he is sensitive to something you are eating... My little man was pretty sensitive for the first 6 (ish) months. It got worse at night. When I cut out dairy, chocolate, and eggs, he was much happier (and so was I). I am certainly not telling you how to "mother" just something someone (other then my pediatrician) suggested to me that made a world of difference :)
