Birthday trip to the zoo!

For Noel's 2nd birthday (well actually the day before, but she had no idea!) we celebrated by going to the Baltimore zoo!

Noel got all dressed up for her special day!

First stop, the carousel! 

She will tell you that, "it goes round and round and up and down!"

Jake and Joe's family happened to go to the zoo on the same day! 

Noel thought Jake was hysterical on the carousel! 

Next stop, a train ride! Jake and Joe with their Mom, Krissy, and Dad, Steve! 

Noel and Jake walked hand in hand on the way back for another carousel ride. 

Noel talked to him the entire way! 

Poor Jake, a lifetime of listening to this girl go on . . . and on . . . and on . . .

Since it was a special day, we had Noel feed the giraffes! 

This is Anulee!

Usually you feed the giraffes bamboo, but Anulee is young and has a delicate stomach so she is eating lettuce. 

Jake and Krissy fed Anulee as well! 

After our zoo trip, it was time for lunch! Last year for Noel's first birthday we took her to Hooters. So, we decided to make it a tradition!

We wanted a picture with the girls, but Noel would freak out if she knew. So . . . we had to improvise! 

Jason took this picture because he thought Noel was being cute. I think he took it to remember one of the reasons why he loves Hooters!
