18 month check-up

Noel had her 18 month check-up a few weeks ago and it went really well! The doctor was happy to see that she had gained some weight! He was also pleased to hear that she was doing some walking, although he did want her to be running at this point. But hey, our girl is doing amazing with her walking so we are happy! 

He wanted to make sure she was at least saying 5 words, she is saying at least 20, so we passed that with flying colors! He gave her a look-over and determined that she was a healthy girl! YAHOO! 

Here are her growth stats since day one, along with her 18 month measurements! 

Weight:  Birth - 6 lbs 12 oz  July 16 - 7 lbs 5 oz (25th percentile)  August 20 - 10 lbs 2.6 oz (55th percentile)  September 10 - 11 lbs 3 oz (60th percentile)  November 8 - 13 lbs 7 oz (50th percentile) January 22 - 15 lbs 4 oz (25th percentile) April 10 - 17 lbs 5 oz (25th percentile)  July 11 -17 lbs 10 oz (5th percentile) October 10 - 19 lbs. 12.5 oz (10th percentile) TODAY (Jan 8) - 22.5 lbs (25th percentile)

Length:  Birth - 20.08 in.  July 16 - 20.5 in (75th percentile)  August 20 - 22.5 in (80th percentile)  September 10 - 23 in (75th percentile)  November 8 - 25.75 in (95th percentile) January 22 - 27.75 in (95th percentile) April 10 - 28.5 in (75th percentile) July 11- 30 in. We attempted to take the same photos that we did monthly with Noel before she turned 1. 

Here is Noel on her changing mat at 1 month, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months.

Here is Noel in the laundry basket at 1 month, 6 months, 12 months and 18 months. Notice that 18 months didn't exactly workout as planned. Now that she is mobile, pictures are MUCH harder to get! 

And lastly, here is Noel in her crib. Again, Noel was NOT interested in taking her 18 month pictures in the crib. It was not nap time or bed time, so she was not happy about being in there! 

Our girl has a VERY strong personality, but luckily she is one cute kid! Happy 18 months kiddo! :)
