Guess where we are going today Noel???

To college!!!!

Wait . . . do I have to wear that crazy cap on my head again?

Hmmm, ok, I'll give it a try!

We arrived on campus and were taken straight up to the Child Development Lab. I had some paperwork to fill out and Noel played with one of the nice college girls doing the testing. Then we went into a "warm-up room" where a lady sat on one side of the table and Noel and I sat on the other side (Noel on my lap). The lady would show Noel a toy, then push it towards her. Each time, we did this about 10 times, Noel reached for the toy and played with it. Then when the lady asked for Noel to hand it back to her, she did each time. Such a good sharer! Then we headed into the "test room" and Noel had to put on . . . dun dun dun . . . THE CAP!!!!

She was not a huge fan of the cap at first, but she forgot about it soon after! This testing was very similar to what they did last time. Noel and I sat in front of a small stage, almost like a puppet theater. The curtain would go up and down. Sometimes they would show Noel a toy, sometimes they would put a very colorful rotating toy by itself on the stage, and sometimes they would let Noel grab a toy on the stage. When she was allowed to grab the toys, a person would come over fairly quickly and get the toy from Noel. Well, Noel caught on and started throwing the toy across the room so the person had to go fetch it. It was actually quite entertaining! After about 20 minutes of testing we were done!
Take a look at our beauty after the cap came off!

Just another day in the busy life of Noel!
