6 month well visit

Noel had her 6 month well visit today! As soon as the nurse walked in to the room Noel started screaming! Oh our little drama queen! The doctor tried her hardest to make Noel a happy girl by showing her a duck on her stethoscope that glows and quacks. Noel gave the doctor her famous attitude look and stared her down. The doctor said she has never been given that serious and deep of a stare before by a baby so young and that her duck always makes kids happy. Well . . . guess not this kid! The attitude has already started! Lord help us! :)

She got measured and weighed (see her stats below!) and we got to ask the doctor lots of questions, as usual. She is doing VERY well! She received 3 immunizations today and part 1 of 2 of the flu shot. We were told to continue giving her baby food once or twice a day, but to let breast-milk remain her main source of food. She is allowed to start drinking a few ounces of water a day, so we are very excited to introduce Noel to a sippy cup!

Length:  Birth - 20.08 in.  July 16 - 20.5 in (75th percentile)  August 20 - 22.5 in (80th percentile)  September 10 - 23 in (75th percentile)  November 8 - 25.75 in (95th percentile) TODAY - 27.75 in (95th percentile)

Head:  July 16 - 35 cm  August 20 - 38 cm (55th percentile)  September 10 - 39.5 cm (75th percentile)  November 8 - 41.5 cm (75th percentile) TODAY - 44 cm (75th percentile)
